This fun winding 18km journey though the mountains was built in the 1850’s by Andrew Geddes Bain. The pass connects three towns in the area: Wellington, Ceres and Tulbagh Valley.
The Bain’s Kloof Pass is worth adding to the list – the drive is wonderfully relaxing for the mind…and there’s a yummy lunch stop in Ceres to complete the excursion.
